This is the main concept of Gurukula. This ensures Guru Shishya sakshat sambanda. Also exchanging knowledge in the classroom with mixed age-groups has proved to be beneficial.
Moreover, the coaching here will be one-on-one based as per the child’s need. We have in-house training for teachers to equip them in this method.
We have this system of mixed age group learning upto 6th Grade. 7th and 8th will be a mixed structure as an open environment and with few fixed slots. From 9th Grade onwards as the concept has to be more deeper, we have it class wise and focus will be on these aspects.
We have our curriculum as per NCERT and NEP Policies. Any good idea from any board will be adopted here. Board comes into the picture from 9th Grade only.
Students can choose NIOS, State Board or IGCSE Board from their 9th Grade.
The syllabus will be almost the same. The teachers here will train them for the question paper pattern of different boards.
In our total curriculum, we have three aspects, Modern knowledge systems, Bharatiya Vidya (Bharatiya Shastra) and Bharatiya Kalaa (Art forms)
Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavata are the essence of The Vedas. These will be taught here.
What is needed for a child at its age will be taught. In PUC they can opt Computer Science instead of Biology.
Indoor games like Chess, Carrom-board, Sampradayika games etc are very prevalent. Children are taken out for out-door games. There will be outdoor games also. Our students even participate in clusters. Before the COVID situation, we also had Kabaddi, Kho-Kho and other outdoor sports. Now, however, depending on how the situation unfolds, a call would be taken.
From an exam point of view, the syllabus is the same. It has flexibility in taking the examination and subject combination.

Right from the beginning, children will be learning based on experiments and working. We have a collaboration with ThinkTac, it will provide an experiment kit to each child to work and learn. For PUC, we have collaborated with other colleges. The practicals will be done through them.
The base is English, vernacular is used to give a better understanding of the subject. For optional languages, teachers insist on speaking in that language during that period.
Language can be learnt at any age, so it should not be a problem. If the child joins earlier, it is beneficial for the child. If later, then the child will first be brought to the level of the class they’re in and then move further to the next level with the rest of the class.
Yes
Intention is just to know what the parent’s expectations of the child are. We need to understand that every individual grows according to their own potential to reach their destiny. We can provide a proper environment to nurture every child’s potential to identify their Swadharma.
We have all modern subjects as per NCERT prescribed method. But the approach will be different. We try to integrate the modern subjects with our Bharatiya Vidya. We provide the best according to the child’s interest, age and capability with collaboration from the parents.
We encourage children to opt for the NIOS Board. But students can even take up the State Board. Very few students will go for IGCSE. Examination is not our main intention. Our main focus is to make the child perfect in its learning journey.
It is for teachers’ understanding. You are required to give the details only if the child is different. If not, you can just mention normal.
First thing is that Purnapramati is not a school. It is more of a Gurukula or extended family just like yours. We prefer Bharatiya vastra samhite and design our uniform in that manner only.
The moment you have decided to join Purnapramati, we say that the child is admitted here. Transportation facility is available. Managed by the parent committee. Anyone can pitch in to improve the system.
At present, we do not provide food and the children have to bring their own Satvik food. With the active participation and collaboration from the parents and society, we can accomplish this in the future.
9:30am to 2:00 pm
Purnapramati is a Social movement. It is a system managed by the teachers but run with the collaboration of the entire community. There is nothing as ‘Management’ in definition like other schools here. It is a collaborative work with parents, teachers and all the other people who are involved in this movement. Hence, we share our successes, challenges and find solutions for the betterment of our student community together.
