PHILOSOPHY

ಏಕಂ ಚ ತತ್ತ್ವತೋ ಜ್ಞಾತುಂ ವಿನಾ ಸರ್ವಜ್ಞತಾಂ ನರಃ ।
ನ ಸಮರ್ಥೋ ಮಹೇಂದ್ರೋಽಪಿ ತಸ್ಮಾತ್ ಸರ್ವತ್ರ ಜಿಜ್ಞಸೇತ್ ॥

– ಶ್ರೀಮದಾನಂದತೀರ್ಥಾಃ

ಒಂದು ವಿಷಯವನ್ನೇ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಯಾರೂ ಸರ್ವಜ್ಞರಾಗಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಮಹೇಂದ್ರನಾದ ಇಂದ್ರನಿಗೂ ಸಹ ಅದು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಜಿಜ್ಞಾಸೆ (ತಿಳಿಯುವ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ) ಹೊಂದಿರಬೇಕು.

ನ್ಯಾಸೋ ಭಕ್ತಿಶ್ಚ ಶುಶ್ರೂಷಾ ಸ್ವಾಧ್ಯಾಯಃ ಸತ್ಯಮೇವ ಚ ।
ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಶೌರ್ಯೇ ಯೋಗಶ್ಚ ಸ್ವಧರ್ಮಸ್ತಪ ಇತ್ಯಪಿ ॥
ದಶೋಪಾಸ್ಯಾನಿ ತತ್ತ್ವಾನಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಪ್ರಮತಿಮಂಡಲೇ ।
ದಶೇತಿ ಸರ್ವಮುದ್ದಿಷ್ಟಂ ಸರ್ವಂ ಪೂರ್ಣಮಿಹೋಚ್ಯತೇ ॥

Detachment, Devotion, Service, Learning, Truth, Encouragement, Courage, Poise, Responsibility and Austerity are the ten founding principles worshipped and followed at Purnapramati.
