Dear Dr.Gururaj Karajagi,
“Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE)” is an
innovative programme sponsored and managed by the Department of
Science & Technology for attraction of talent to Science. The basic
objective of INSPIRE is to communicate to the youth of the country the
excitements of creative pursuit of science, attract talent to the
study of science at an early age and thus build the required critical
human resource pool for strengthening and expanding the Science &
Technology system and R&D base.
Indian Academy Degree College is organizing the INSPIRE programme, an
initiative by the Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India
between 7th and 11th Jan 2014. This is the third such programme by the
college.
About 160 students from the different schools and colleges in and
around Bangalore will participate in this programme.
We would like to request you to present “A ‘curtain raiser’ giving
importance to Basic Sciences and inspiring young minds (Class XI and
XII) to take up basic sciences as career option’.
