Shrilakshmi,
Teacher(Elementary), Purnapramati
This is the first time that I have seen the pre-utsava and utsava activities happen. It did really feel like a ‘mahotsava’. It was a delight to see so many people participate as happens in one’s own family function.
The amount of effort which goes into it right from deciding the play, assigning roles, preparing dialogues, song and dance sequences, decorations and everything is incredible. To attempt to recycle available materials for decoration or props is something worth appreciation. It was wonderful to see everyone make optimum utilization of resources. … something hopefully children of Purnapramati will emulate.
When I attended the parent orientation, I wondered how it was possible to make every child participate in the Utsava. Cheers to Purnapramati for having walked the talk and ensuring that no child is left out.
It was commendable to see that the songs and stories of bhakti saints belonging to different states were portrayed. I wished there were few more programmes on desha bhakti too.
However, many of them could not stay till the end because it got quite late. I feel allotting some buffer time while preparing the schedule might help to finish the programme as per plan.
Nevertheless, I am really glad to have been a small part of this grand utsava.
